Call Points, Buttons, Annunciators and More

Helping residents call for help and giving staff the tools to respond

Advance Care gives residents simple, reliable ways to call for help, from bedside buttons and shower pull cords to wireless pendants. Just as important, every call is backed by a system of clear, intelligent alerts. Staff are notified instantly through over door lights, audible alarms, and LCD annunciators, with the option to extend alerts to computers or mobile devices.

This combination of visual, audible, and digital alerts ensures calls are never missed, and your team can respond quickly with confidence.

Call Points and Buttons

Every nurse call system should make it simple to raise an alarm and get help quickly. Advance Care delivers this and more, with a wide range of wired and wireless call points.

Each button is designed with soft-touch silicone for ease of use, even for residents with limited dexterity. Graphite-plated contacts and supervised connections ensure reliability day in, day out.

The buttons are also intelligent. Features such as dual-press operation, pendant removal alerts, cleaning mode, backlighting, and reassurance tones give your team flexibility while helping residents feel confident that their call has been received. Calls can trigger over-door lights, alarms, LCD annunciators, or alerts to staff mobiles - ensuring the right person is notified straight away.

LCD Annunciators

Annunciators are the “mission control” displays in your corridors. With 48-character, tri-colour displays, they show the room or call type (in priority colours) so staff know at a glance what’s happening.

The display is non-reflective and visible from over 10 metres away, and it can be mounted on walls or ceilings, singly or double-sided.

Each annunciator includes an integrated chime with multiple tones and adjustable volume (which can be set to a different level at night). Because they draw their power and signals directly from the nurse call system, they stay operational whenever the system is live, and automatically cycle through active calls in order of priority.

Over Door Lights

Over door lights give you immediate visual alerts from the hallway — no need to wait until someone checks the panel. Advance Care uses multicolour RGB / tri-colour LEDs to distinguish the priority of each call.

The lights are engineered for clarity: constant brightness ensures uniform visibility, and the LED components are long lasting and low maintenance.

Because they’re part of the call network, these lights are powered via the controller and stay functional even during common faults, ensuring the call status can be seen at all times.

Alarms

Every call signalled by Advance Care is paired with an audible alert from the annunciator or related sound unit — these are designed to be clear, distinguishable, and adjustable in volume to suit the environment.

The system is fully supervised, so it not only raises alerts for calls but also monitors alarm pathways and status. If there’s a failure or fault, staff are notified before it becomes a risk.
